Method
- Add one ice cube to a rocks glass.
- In a mixing glass, combine 3 ml ginger syrup, 3 ml agave syrup, 3 ml Maraschino liqueur, and 15 ml mezcal.
- Add 2 ml Peychaud's bitters, 4 ml Angostura bitters, and 45 ml Highland single malt whisky.
- Fill the mixing glass with ice cubes and stir.
- Strain into the rocks glass.
- Garnish with grapefruit zest.
About the Stormy Old Fashioned
A strong, spicy Old Fashioned variation with mezcal and Highland single malt whisky. The ginger and agave syrups add sweetness and spice.
