Tequila Sunrise (Revamped)

Made with tequila, served in a cocktail glass.

60 ml / 2 ozblanco tequila, Pueblo Viejo
20 ml / 0.75 ozLemon juice
15 ml / 0.5 ozOrange cordial
15 ml / 0.5 ozGrenadine, as float/sink
1Grapefruit peel, as garnish

Method

  1. Shake blanco tequila, lemon juice, and orange cordial with ice.
  2. Strain into a cocktail glass.
  3. Float grenadine on top and let it sink.
  4. Garnish with a grapefruit peel.
