Hpnotiq is a blue-colored liqueur created from a blend of fruit juices, vodka, and a small amount of cognac. It contains 17% alcohol by volume and is produced in France.

History

Hpnotiq was created in 2001 by Raphael Yakoby, a college student from Long Island, New York. The idea came to him after seeing blue perfume at Bloomingdale's, inspiring him to create a similar blue liqueur. Initially promoted in New York night clubs, it quickly gained popularity as an alternative to cosmopolitans and martinis.

How it is made

Hpnotiq is produced in the French town of Cognac using high-quality French triple-distilled vodka that has undergone slow charcoal filtration for a smoother taste. The fruit components include pineapple juice, white grape juice, passion fruit juice, and orange juice. Since June 2011, a purple variety called Hpnotiq Harmonie has also been available, containing berries, violets, and lavender.

How it is served

Hpnotiq is often served in cocktails, including the Incredible Hulk. It is particularly popular with women aged 21-35 and is commonly found at parties and social gatherings. The brand's official slogan is 'Live louder!'
