Courtesan

Made with vodka and amaretto, served in a cognac glass.

30 ml / 1 ozVodka
20 ml / 3/4 ozAmaretto liqueur
15 ml / 1/2 ozSugar syrup
15 ml / 1/2 ozLemon juice
25 ml / 3/4 ozQuail egg white
140 gStrawberry
1 gMint
2 gCane sugar
260 gIce cubes

Method

  1. Rim the cognac glass with cane sugar.
  2. Fill the glass with ice cubes.
  3. Muddle 6 strawberries in the shaker.
  4. Add egg white, lemon juice, sugar syrup, amaretto and vodka to the shaker.
  5. Fill with ice and shake vigorously.
  6. Strain into the prepared glass and garnish with strawberry and mint.

About the Courtesan

The Courtesan is a short, strong sour cocktail with vodka and amaretto base. It has a berry, tropical character with sweetness from strawberry and amaretto.
