Death's Door Cocktail

Made with gin, aromatised wine and crème de cassis, served in a cocktail glass.

60 ml / 2 ozGin, Death's Door
20 ml / 0.75 ozAromatised wine, Lillet Blanc (Cocchi Americano would work well too)
15 ml / 0.5 ozAvena
5 ml / 0.25 ozCassis

Method

  1. Stir gin, Lillet Blanc, Avena, and cassis with ice.
  2. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
  3. Garnish with a flamed orange peel.

About the Death's Door Cocktail

This dry, aromatic cocktail is a stirred sour made with gin and Lillet Blanc. The addition of Avena and cassis adds herbal and fruity notes.
