Tequila Sunrise - 1920s Original Version

Made with tequila and crème de cassis, served in a highball glass.

45 ml / 1.5 ozblanco tequila
45 ml / 1.5 ozLemon juice
30 ml / 1 ozsimple syrup
60 ml / 2 ozClub soda
15 ml / 0.5 ozCassis
5 ml / 0.25 ozGrenadine

Method

  1. Build tequila, lemon juice, simple syrup, and club soda in a highball glass.
  2. Add cassis and grenadine last for the sunrise effect.
