History

Hot Buttered Rum dates back to colonial days in the United States, where families had their own recipes. It was traditionally associated with the holiday season and was believed to be nutritious. The drink saw renewed interest in the 1940s as a tiki drink, with variations created by notable bartenders like Trader Vic.
