Paradise Sour

Made with rye whiskey, rum and aromatised wine, served in a coupe.

30 ml / 1 ozrye whiskey, Bonded
30 ml / 1 ozRum, Cask-strength Barbados
15 ml / 0.5 ozAromatised wine, Cocchi Vermouth di Torino
15 ml / 0.5 ozLemon juice
15 ml / 0.5 ozLime juice
30 ml / 1 ozFalernum
15 ml / 0.5 ozEgg white
2 dashesBitters, Angostura
1Lemon peel, as garnish
1Orchid, as garnish

Method

  1. Shake all ingredients with ice.
  2. Strain into a coupe glass.
  3. Garnish with lemon peel and orchid.

About the Paradise Sour

A sour-style drink combining rye whiskey and rum with tropical notes from falernum and citrus. The egg white adds a silky texture.
