Up To Date

Made with rye whiskey, sherry and liqueur, served in a cocktail glass.

45 ml / 1.5 ozrye whiskey
45 ml / 1.5 ozDry sherry
5 ml / 0.25 ozOrange liqueur, Grand Marnier
2 dashesBitters, Angostura

Method

  1. Stir all ingredients with ice.
  2. Strain into a chilled glass.

The Up To Date is a stirred sour cocktail with a sherry base. Its ingredients give it a savory and oily character similar to a Manhattan.
