Baltimore Eggnog

Made with brandy, rum and Madeira wine.

20 ml / 0.67 ozBrandy
20 ml / 0.67 ozJamaican rum (or other pot still, full-bodied, traditional rum)
20 ml / 0.67 ozMadeira wine, verdelho
20 ml / 0.75 ozsimple syrup, 1:1
1 barspooncinnamon (powder), shaken)
30 ml / 1 ozHeavy cream
1Whole egg
1 pinchNutmeg, as garnish

Method

  1. Combine all ingredients except nutmeg in a shaker.
  2. Shake well and double strain into a goblet.
  3. Garnish with a pinch of nutmeg.
