Don Pedro

Made with tequila, served in a rocks glass.

50 ml / 1 3/4 ozSilver tequila
20 ml / 3/4 ozSugar syrup
20 ml / 3/4 ozGrapefruit juice
15 ml / 1/2 ozLemon juice
30 gChili pepper
320 gIce cubes

Method

  1. Fill a rocks glass with ice cubes.
  2. Muddle a chili ring in a shaker.
  3. Add 15ml lemon juice, 20ml grapefruit juice, 20ml sugar syrup and 50ml silver tequila to the shaker.
  4. Fill shaker with ice and shake.
  5. Strain into the rocks glass.
  6. Garnish with a chili pepper.

The Don Pedro is a strong, sour tequila drink with citrus and chili notes. It combines tequila with grapefruit and lemon juices, sweetened with sugar syrup and spiced with chili.
