Method
- Fill an old-fashioned glass with ice.
- Pour 35 ml scotch whisky and 35 ml amaretto into the glass.
- Stir gently to combine.
About the Godmother
The Godmother is a sour cocktail made with scotch whisky and amaretto. The ingredients create a sweet, nutty character with whisky backbone.
History
The origin of this cocktail is unknown. It became known before the release of the film with the same name. The Godmother is a relative of the Godfather cocktail, both sharing amaretto as an ingredient.
