Method
- Stir together 1.5 oz ginger wine and 1.5 oz blended Scotch without ice.
- Pour the mixture into a Collins glass with no ice.

History
The cocktail is attributed to Colonel Hector MacDonald, who created it during the British Raj in India. It is sometimes called "The Golfers' Favorite" as golfers drank it to ward off cold after rounds.
