Javana

Made with fruit brandy, arrack and gin, served in a cocktail glass.

45 ml / 1.5 ozDry apricot brandy
20 ml / 0.75 ozbatavia arrack, scant
20 ml / 0.75 ozOrange juice, scant
5 ml / 0.25 ozGin, scant
5 ml / 0.25 ozTriple sec, Cointreau (scant)

Method

  1. Shake all ingredients with ice.
  2. Strain into a cocktail glass.
  3. Add a chunk of pineapple as garnish.

About the Javana

The Javana is a sour cocktail featuring dry apricot brandy and batavia arrack as its base, with gin and triple sec adding complexity. Orange juice provides a citrusy balance.
