Beauregarde's Breakfast

Made with bourbon whiskey, wine and bitters, served in a cocktail glass.

45 ml / 1.5 ozBourbon
15 ml / 0.5 ozAmaro Montenegro
20 ml / 0.75 ozLemon juice
2 dashesBitters, Angostura
1T blueberry preserves
1Lemon peel, expressed and discarded

Method

  1. Add bourbon, amaro, lemon juice, bitters and blueberry preserves to a shaker with ice.
  2. Shake well, then double strain into a chilled glass.
  3. Garnish with expressed lemon peel.
