Elk's Own (Paul McGee)

Made with bourbon whiskey, Port wine and Cynar, served in a rocks glass.

45 ml / 1.5 ozBourbon, Heaven Hill (Bottled in Bond)
15 ml / 0.5 ozRuby Port, Graham's (Six Grapes)
5 ml / 0.25 ozCynar
15 ml / 0.5 ozLemon juice
15 ml / 0.5 ozsimple syrup
15 ml / 0.5 ozEgg white
1 rinseWalnut liqueur, Nux Alpina

Method

  1. Rinse old fashioned glass with walnut liqueur.
  2. Shake all ingredients with ice.
  3. Strain into prepared glass.
