Planter's Punch

Made with rum, liqueur and Falernum, served in a hurricane glass. An official cocktail of the International Bartenders Association (Unforgettables).

20 ml / 3/4 ozDark rum
20 ml / 3/4 ozWhite rum
10 ml / 1/4 ozDry Orange liqueur
5 ml / 1/4 ozFalernum
1 mlAngostura bitters
5 ml / 1/4 ozGrenadine
10 ml / 1/4 ozSugar syrup
40 ml / 1 1/4 ozOrange juice
40 ml / 1 1/4 ozPineapple juice
10 ml / 1/4 ozLime juice
30 gPineapple
1Pineapple leaves
5 gMaraschino cherry
400 gIce cubes

Method

  1. Add all ingredients except bitters to a shaker filled with ice.
  2. Shake well and strain into a hurricane glass filled with ice.
  3. Add Angostura bitters on top and garnish with pineapple, cherry, and leaves.
