Poet's Dream

Made with gin, vermouth and Bénédictine, served in a cocktail glass.

45 ml / 1 1/2 ozLondon dry gin
10 ml / 1/4 ozDry vermouth
10 ml / 1/4 ozBénédictine
10 ml / 1/4 ozFino sherry
2 mlWalnut bitters
1 mlCitrus herbal bitters
10 gWalnut
1Lemon zest
300 gIce cubes

Method

  1. Combine Fino sherry, Bénédictine, and dry vermouth in a mixing glass.
  2. Add citrus herbal bitters, walnut bitters, and London dry gin to the mixing glass.
  3. Fill with ice cubes and stir gently with a cocktail spoon.
  4. Strain into a cocktail glass.
  5. Garnish with lemon zest and a walnut on a skewer.
