Bootstrap Buck

Made with rum, served in a collins glass.

60 ml / 2 ozVirgin Islands rum, Cruzan Blackstrap
30 ml / 1 ozLime juice
15 ml / 0.5 ozDemerara syrup, 2:1
20 ml / 0.75 ozGinger beer, Fentimans
1 pinchNutmeg, as garnish

Method

  1. Shake Cruzan Blackstrap rum, lime juice, and Demerara syrup with ice.
  2. Strain into a Collins glass filled with fresh ice.
  3. Top with Fentimans ginger beer and grate fresh nutmeg over the top.
