Irish Manhattan (Dead Rabbit)

Made with Irish whiskey, vermouth and Curaçao, served in a cocktail glass.

45 ml / 1.5 ozIrish whiskey, Jameson Black Barrel
45 ml / 1.5 ozSweet vermouth, Dolin (wormwood-infused, though this can be skipped)
15 ml / 0.5 ozCuraçao, Pierre Ferrand Dry Curacao
4 dashesBitters, Dr Adam Elmegirab's Orinoco Bitters (3-4 dashes)
1Orange peel, expressed and discarded

Method

  1. Combine all ingredients in a mixing glass with ice.
  2. Stir well until chilled.
  3. Strain into a cocktail glass.
  4. Express orange peel over drink and discard.
