Orsini

Made with vermouth, vodka and cognac, served in a rocks glass.

35 ml / 1 1/4 ozVodka
10 ml / 1/4 ozCognac
45 ml / 1 1/2 ozRed vermouth
2 mlCoffee liqueur
15 gTurpentine coffee
3 mlOrange blossom water
75 ml / 2 1/2 ozMilk
25 ml / 3/4 ozQuail egg white
5 gVanilla bean
3 gCoconut flakes
1 gSesame seeds
200 gIce cubes

Method

  1. Add turpentine coffee, red vermouth, and cognac to a shaker.
  2. Add coffee liqueur and vodka. Fill the shaker with ice and shake well.
  3. Strain the mixture into a rocks glass.
  4. Add quail egg white, milk, and orange blossom water to a siphon. Shake the siphon 3 to 4 times.
  5. Pour the foam into a bowl and place it on top of the rocks glass.
  6. Garnish with vanilla bean, coconut flakes, and sesame seeds.

About the Orsini

This short drink combines vodka, cognac, and red vermouth with coffee and milk. It has a bitter, coffee flavor.
