Maid In Manhattan

Made with vodka, served in a sling glass.

40 ml / 1 1/4 ozVodka
20 ml / 3/4 ozMango syrup
5 ml / 1/4 ozGrenadine
15 ml / 1/2 ozLemon juice
80 ml / 2 3/4 ozOrange juice
40 gOrange
7 gRosemary
5 gMaraschino cherry
200 gCrushed ice
200 gIce cubes

Method

  1. Fill a sling glass with crushed ice.
  2. Muddle rosemary in a shaker.
  3. Add vodka, lemon juice, orange juice, grenadine, and mango syrup.
  4. Add ice cubes to the shaker and shake well.
  5. Strain the mixture into the glass and top with more crushed ice.
  6. Garnish with rosemary, orange slice, and maraschino cherry.

This sour, highball drink uses vodka as its base. It gets a sweet, tropical flavor from mango syrup, orange juice, and fruit garnishes.
