Missionary's Downfall

Made with rum and liqueur, served in a sling glass.

60 ml / 2 ozWhite rum
20 ml / 3/4 ozPeach liqueur
15 ml / 1/2 ozSugar syrup
15 ml / 1/2 ozLime juice
150 gPineapple
2 gMint
5 gMaraschino cherry
200 gCrushed ice
200 gIce cubes

Method

  1. Fill sling glass with crushed ice.
  2. Muddle pineapple slice in shaker.
  3. Add lime juice, sugar syrup, peach liqueur, and white rum to shaker.
  4. Add mint leaves and fill with ice cubes.
  5. Shake well and strain into sling glass.
  6. Add more crushed ice and garnish with pineapple slice, mint sprig, and cherry.
