Piña Colada In A Coconut

Made with rum, served in a cocktail glass.

50 ml / 1 3/4 ozWhite rum
20 ml / 3/4 ozSugar syrup
30 gPineapple
2Pineapple leaves
1500 gCoconut
30 gCoconut cream
5 gMaraschino cherry
110 gCrushed ice

Method

  1. Split the coconut in half and remove the flesh.
  2. Fill a cocktail glass halfway with crushed ice and place the coconut shell in it.
  3. Blend pineapple, coconut cream, sugar syrup, and white rum without ice.
  4. Add some crushed ice to the blender and blend again.
  5. Pour the mixture into the coconut shell in the glass.
  6. Add more crushed ice and garnish with pineapple, cherry, and pineapple leaves.
