Golden Mai Tai

Made with rum, triple sec and Angostura bitters, served in a rocks glass.

40 ml / 1 1/4 ozGold rum
15 ml / 1/2 ozTriple sec
1 mlAngostura bitters
15 ml / 1/2 ozOrgeat syrup
15 ml / 1/2 ozLime juice
20 gLime
1 gMint
150 gCrushed ice
200 gIce cubes

Method

  1. Fill a rocks glass with crushed ice.
  2. Combine lime juice, orgeat syrup, triple sec, and gold rum in a shaker.
  3. Add angostura bitters, then fill shaker with ice cubes.
  4. Shake well and strain into the rocks glass.
  5. Add more crushed ice.
  6. Garnish with a lime slice and mint sprig.
