Monochrome

Made with Port wine, liqueur and sherry, served in a sour glass.

10 ml / 1/4 ozNut liqueur
60 ml / 2 ozPort wine
10 ml / 1/4 ozPedro Ximenez sherry
2 mlPlum bitters
300 gIce cubes

Method

  1. Pour 10 ml nut liqueur and 10 ml Pedro Ximenez sherry into a mixing glass.
  2. Add 2 dashes of plum bitters and 60 ml port wine.
  3. Fill the glass with ice and stir gently.
  4. Strain into a chilled sour glass.

About the Monochrome

A short drink combining port wine, nut liqueur, Pedro Ximenez sherry, and plum bitters. It has a sweet wine character with nutty and fruity notes.
