Naked and Famous

Made with mezcal, liqueur and Aperol, served in a cocktail glass.

20 ml / 0.75 ozMezcal, Del Maguey Chichicapa
20 ml / 0.75 ozHerbal liqueur, Yellow Chartreuse
20 ml / 0.75 ozLime juice
20 ml / 0.75 ozAperol

Method

  1. Shake all ingredients with ice.
  2. Strain into a cocktail glass.

About the Naked and Famous

The Naked and Famous is a sour cocktail featuring mezcal, yellow Chartreuse, Aperol, and lime juice. It combines smoky, herbal, bitter, and citrus flavors in equal parts.

History

Created by Joaquín Simó in 2011 at Death and Company in New York City, it became an IBA official cocktail in 2020.
