About the Brandy Sour

The Brandy Sour is a sophisticated sour cocktail featuring Cognac as its base. It combines the warmth of brandy with the bright acidity of lemon and a velvety texture from egg white, creating a balanced and complex drink.

History

The Cypriot Brandy Sour was developed in the early 1930s following the creation of the first blended Cypriot brandy. It's considered the unofficial national cocktail of Cyprus and was reportedly created at the Forest Park Hotel in Plátres.
