About the Milk Punch
Milk punch is a creamy, low-alcohol punch served cold in a punch bowl. This tropical version features a blend of brandy, bourbon, and Calvados with milk, tea, fruit, and spices.
History
First recorded in 1688, milk punch gained popularity in the 18th century. Originally served in punch bowls, it was valued for its shelf stability as a bottled drink. Queen Victoria granted a royal warrant for milk punch in 1838.
