French Soda

Made with gin and Curaçao, served in a sour glass.

40 ml / 1 1/4 ozLondon dry gin
5 ml / 1/4 ozBlue Curaçao liqueur
20 ml / 3/4 ozSugar syrup
30 ml / 1 ozLime juice
70 ml / 2 1/4 ozSoda water
5 gSugar cubes
5 gGinger root
200 gIce cubes

Method

  1. Muddle ginger root in shaker.
  2. Add gin, lime juice, and sugar syrup to shaker.
  3. Fill with ice and shake.
  4. Strain into sour glass.
  5. Soak sugar cube in blue curaçao and place on absinthe spoon.
  6. Top with soda water and stir gently.
