French Toast Flip

Made with sherry, applejack and Scotch whisky.

30 ml / 1 ozSweet sherry (dry sack 15, a sweetened Oloroso)
15 ml / 0.5 ozApple brandy
15 ml / 0.5 ozScotch
15 ml / 0.5 ozGrade B maple syrup
5 ml / 0.25 ozAllspice dram
2 dashesBitters
1Whole egg

Method

  1. Dry shake all ingredients with ice.
  2. Shake again with fresh ice.
  3. Strain into a glass.
  4. Garnish with freshly grated cinnamon.
