La Belle Epoque

Made with Prosecco, cognac and absinthe, served in a flute.

30 ml / 1 ozCognac
2 mlAbsinthe
90 ml / 3 ozProsecco
15 ml / 1/2 ozSugar syrup
20 ml / 3/4 ozLemon juice
5 gMaraschino cherry
200 gIce cubes

Method

  1. Pour lemon juice and sugar syrup into a shaker.
  2. Add absinthe and cognac.
  3. Fill the shaker with ice and shake well.
  4. Strain into a chilled flute.
  5. Top with Prosecco and stir gently.
  6. Garnish with a maraschino cherry.
