Grand Sazerac

Made with Prosecco, whisky and liqueur, served in a collins glass.

15 ml / 1/2 ozAbsinthe
40 ml / 1 1/4 ozWhisky
20 ml / 3/4 ozDry Orange liqueur
140 ml / 4 3/4 ozProsecco
1 mlAngostura bitters
1Orange zest
180 gIce cubes

Method

  1. Rinse Collins glass with absinthe inside and out.
  2. Fill glass with ice cubes.
  3. Add 20ml dry orange liqueur and 40ml whisky.
  4. Add 1 dash of Angostura bitters.
  5. Top with Prosecco and stir gently.
  6. Garnish with orange zest.

About the Grand Sazerac

A highball-style sour drink with whisky and Prosecco base. The ingredients give it a strong, citrusy and herbal character.
