Prohibition Apple

Made with cognac, cider and liquor, served in a rocks glass.

50 ml / 1 3/4 ozCognac
10 ml / 1/4 ozGentian
5 ml / 1/4 ozElderflower liqueur
25 ml / 3/4 ozApple cider

60 ml / 2 ozHomemade apple-rhubarb ketchup
120 gIce cubes

Method

  1. Fill a rocks glass with ice cubes.
  2. Pour in 60 ml homemade apple-rhubarb ketchup and 5 ml elderflower liqueur.
  3. Add 10 ml gentian and 50 ml Cognac.
  4. Top with apple cider and stir gently.
  5. Garnish with a small apple and mint sprig.

About the Prohibition Apple

A strong sour drink with Cognac base. Apple cider and apple provide fruitiness while gentian adds bitterness.
