French Collins

Made with cognac, served in a highball glass.

50 ml / 1 3/4 ozCognac
10 ml / 1/4 ozSugar syrup
100 ml / 3 1/2 ozSoda water
40 gLime
30 gGreen grape
8 gRed basil
200 gCrushed ice

Method

  1. Place grapes and basil leaves in a highball glass.
  2. Add lime half and muddle.
  3. Fill glass with crushed ice.
  4. Add sugar syrup and Cognac.
  5. Top with soda water and stir gently.
  6. Add more crushed ice and garnish with basil.
