Burdock Sazerac

Made with cognac, liqueur and absinthe, served in a rocks glass.

60 ml / 2 ozCognac
3 mlAbsinthe
15 ml / 1/2 ozMastic
1 mlChocolate bitters
1 mlPeychaud's bitters
15 ml / 1/2 ozMaple syrup
1Orange zest
1Ice sphere

Method

  1. Place an ice sphere in a rocks glass.
  2. Add maple syrup, absinthe, and mastic.
  3. Add chocolate and Peychaud's bitters, then Cognac.
  4. Stir gently with a cocktail spoon.
  5. Garnish with orange zest.
